NBCUniversal is launching streaming apps for USA Network and Syfy on the Xbox One, the first time the company has brought “TV Everywhere” apps to the Xbox platform.
USA Now and Syfy Now will both offer next-day access to new episodes of each network’s original series, as well as a mixture of full seasons and select episodes from shows that have finished their run or are on hiatus.
For instance, on USA Now, viewers will be able to catch-up on the latest episode of summer shows like Suits, Graceland, Covert Affairs, and Royal Pains, as well as full seasons of the reality series Chrisley Knows Best and comedy Playing House. A collection of five episodes from popular shows like Burn Notice, White Collar, and Psych will also be made available.
On Syfy Now, fans of shows like Defiance, Dominion, Helix, Haven, Being Human, and Warehouse 13 will get access to full seasons and/or select episodes, depending on the show. The network’s upcoming Sharknado 2 will also be made available on the app following its on-air premiere. Original digital content from BlastrTV is also featured on the Xbox One app.
As is the case with any TV Everywhere offering, to view content on USA Now or Syfy Now will require a TV subscription to those channels.
