We’ve seen our fair share of iPad models released over the past few years, including the Minis and the Retina-display editions. However, that may not be stopping the company from working on some new editions.
A report from Apple Insider indicates that the company is working on five different 12.9 inch tablet models, with two versions of the device set to launch sometime next year.
Reportedly being built by Apple’s main manufacturing partner Foxconn, the new devices could be packing all-new displays, including a 2K model (at the current display resolution) and, to follow later in the year, a 4K model.
Apple had no official comment on the devices, but we could learn more within a few months’ time.
