Spider-Man Goes Back To The Future

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is ambitiously tackling four different settings; the two original being revealed as Noir in 1933 and a modern Amazing Spider-Man. Now, Activision has revealed the third dimension: the 2099 version of the character set in a dystopian future where the mantle of Spider-Man is taken up by Miguel O’Hara.

PS4 v3.1: Viral Promotion?

Recently a new video emerged that appears to be a viral video from Sony. The production values would suggest an official video and the glasses on the oddly convulsing man seem to point to 3D capabilities, but for now (as with many viral videos) things are a mystery.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Touched By The Divine

The Deus Ex series has always been highly regarded for giving players freedom to choose to play the game as they want to (with choices made in the story and gameplay) along with its mature cyberpunk themes. Square Enix has released a long trailer for the anticipated prequel Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and if it’s half as impressive as this CG wonder, it’ll be something to look out for.

Video Games Live Come To PBS

Video Games Live has been going on for a few years now, combining orchestral sounds with images and scores from select video games. Its unique combination has caught the attention of PBS, which is running a show on it in August, which is a great sign for the mainstreaming of games.

Total War Reclaims Japan

Shogun: Total War was a seminal game for the PC strategy genre and Creative Assembly’s first major independent product. While multiple sequels and expansions have released since then all dealing with Western history, jubilation met the announcement of a true sequel to where Total War began.
